Job Summary
The Cost Advisor will be responsible for tasks related to cost control, Preparation of Budgets for Capital Projects, cost management, cost planning, negotiation, Project planning and Project Cost reporting. This will involve liaison with Project Office, Bids and Contract management team and other business functions.
Job Details
- Procurement Strategy development and drafting pricing mechanisms
- Preparation of detailed Bill of Quantities
- Measurement, extraction of quantities from working drawings, and cost analyses
- Supervising projects and Physical measurements on-site
- Preparation of Interim Valuation for stage payment
- Preparation of Bill of Materials
- Preparation of Basis of Measurement
- Measurement of quantities from working drawings
- Physical Measurement on site
- Create budgets using contract pricing and review pricing and engineering data.
- Provide raw material forecasts and cost analysis to management.
Requirements
Education
- A degree or its equivalent with a minimum of a 2.2 in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field. Masters Degree Preferred.
Experience
- 5- 7 years of experience in cost control, cost estimating, or project finance based roles.
