Job Summary

The role holder's responsibility is to keep track, evaluate and monitor the day-to-day activities of the LPG business ensuring the right process is followed in delivering various responsibilities which involve sales, service, safety and maintenance.

Job Details

  • Establishing sales of LPG and related products, making proper recommendations and applications of products sold, and marketing and service
  • Maintain and monitor LPG delivery schedule and sales to customers in a manner which will result in increased satisfaction
  • Proactively gather current customer data/information and regularly update customer database to ensure reliability and accuracy
  • Maintain minimum stock of LPG at retail outlet LPG plants being covered
  • Monitor LPG plant stock levels and product re-ordering
  • Embark on planned prospection visits to potential customers in the territory
  • Knowledge of and utilization of necessary resources to make proper recommendations of products sold to customers
  • Provide LRM with pricing updates, periodic reports of current competitors’ strategies
  • Developing and maintaining routing, keep fill systems; performing customer tank maintenance; resolving customer complaints

Requirements

Education

  • A bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, marketing, mathematics, business administration, or related field.

Experience

  • 3-4 years relevant experience in Business Development, Sales, Marketing etc
  • Relevant professional certification is an added advantage

Skills

  • Good understanding of the LPG business
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving with a results-driven mindset.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to adapt to changing environments.
  • Good understanding of the local and international Oil & Gas sector including guiding principles and regulations. Good knowledge of marketing operations in the downstream oil and gas marketing sector.
