Job Summary

The Operatives are the first line of contact and the operators of the extrusion blow moulding and injection moulding machines in the Blow Moulding Section. The role also requires adherence to safety standards, operational procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements while collaborating with maintenance personnel, blow moulding technical supervisors, and quality assurance departments to achieve operational efficiency.

Job Details

  • Operate plant/equipment as per specified standard operating procedure (SOP).
  • Prepare equipment for maintenance.
  • Identify issues with plant/equipment and escalate to the maintenance team via the Technical Supervisors.
  • Receipt of raw materials for the planned production cycle/shift from the designated Supply Officer and setting up the production floor prior to commencement of operations.
  • Pack the produced kegs and caps from the quality centre of the blow moulding and injection moulding machines using the plastic trays and cartons respectively for onward storage at the finished goods warehouse.
  • Coordinate with the QAQC Officer for the collection and delivery of process samples for QC laboratory analysis.
  • Participate in incident investigations and process hazard analysis.

Requirements

  • OND/HND degree in mechanical engineering with 2+ years’ experience in blow moulding or other cognate work experience.
  • QHSSE knowledge
